In 2018, following 60 years at our original Rochdale flagship store, we made the decision to move our Menswear store alongside our ladieswear store in Norden.  With this move came a rebranding of the business from Denis Hope to HOPE.

Visiting Norden you will find well known brands coupled with new and exciting labels that are sourced from across Europe. Most of these labels cannot be found on the high street and are exclusive to HOPE in the North West. 

HOPE Menswear stock a wide variety of suits, jackets, formal shirts and trousers from brands including Remus Uomo, Benetti, Roy Robson, and Sand.

At HOPE we have over 60 years experience in suiting and tailoring.  Our suits and jackets range from size 36″ – 52″ chest, and are available in short, regular and long fittings. An in house alterations service is offered on all garments.  Personal Tailoring and Made to Measure is also available, so if you’re a fellow that values individuality and sartorial elegance HOPE can create a masterpiece especially for you.  It is our philosophy that every item, shop bought or tailor made, should fit perfectly.

Formal trousers from Brax, Sand and Berwich are available in various fits and fabrics, with sizes ranging from 30″ waist to 50″.   We also offer a wide variety of business shirts that can be worn with or without a tie in sizes 14.5″ to 19″. There aren’t many stores in the North West that cater for the range of sizes that we do.

Our casual menswear collection is designed to sit seamlessly alongside our formal and tailored offering. We bring together established names and exciting European labels to create a versatile edit built on quality, comfort and modern style.

Brands include Barbour, Sandbanks, Lacoste, UBR, R2 Amsterdam, Giordano, Brax and more.

We’re well known locally for our extensive men’s shirt collection. From relaxed button-down styles in classic shades to bolder prints and refined dress shirts with distinctive details, there’s a fit and finish to suit every occasion — and every personal style.

Seasonal highlights keep the collection fresh. Autumn/Winter introduces Italian knitwear from Gran Sasso, performance outerwear from UBR and Barbour, and statement boots by Bugatti. In Spring/Summer, expect lightweight unstructured jackets, tailored shorts from Brax and Giordano, chinos by Berwich and Brax, and standout polos from Sandbanks and Lacoste.

Denim is a core part of our menswear offer, with premium jeans from Vingt Quatre, Replay, and Brax. Available in a range of fits from slim to regular, sizes 30″–44″ waist, with in house alterations to ensure the perfect fit.
